A donation for a total of $ 96,000 that included tents, dummies, sound systems, desks, chairs, file cabinets, banners, footballs, basketballs and others, was presented to the Honduran National Police, in order to properly equip 16 out of 23 GREAT instructor teams.
The ceremony ended with the artistic participation of children.
The Gang Resistance Education and Training (GREAT) Program has been in Honduras since 2012. Each year the program opens in new areas of the Alliance for Prosperity list in order to reach the areas where children are in more risk of getting involved in gangs.
