The United States Makes a New Donation of Nearly 100,000 Doses of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine to Honduras

The U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is pleased to announce another donation from the government of the United States of nearly 100,000 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to the people of Honduras. This additional donation of vaccines is part of the global effort of the Biden-Harris Administration to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The donated vaccine doses will arrive through the COVAX mechanism to Tegucigalpa, Honduras on Wednesday, August 25.

This donation is a continuation of our support to the Honduran people so that they can return to normality and focus on economic recovery. It is part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to share its vaccines with the world, and President Biden’s promise that the United States will be the arsenal of vaccines in the global fight against COVID-19.
