The U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is pleased to announce a donation from the government of the United States of 250,040 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to the people of Honduras.

This additional donation of vaccine doses is part of the global effort of the Biden-Harris Administration to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, the United States has donated nearly 3.9 million vaccine doses to Honduras through the COVAX mechanism.

This donation is a continuation of our support to the Honduran people and will help them focus on economic recovery. It is part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to share vaccines with the world. President Biden has promised the United States will provide 1.1 billion vaccine doses through 2022 in the fight against COVID-19.
