The Government of Honduras announced a total curfew

The Government of Honduras announced a total curfew starting 2200 hrs on March 16, 2020 and continuing for at least the next 7 days in Tegucigalpa, Choluteca and La Ceiba. According to the announcement, individuals encountered outside without a legitimate reason, such as a medical emergency, acquisition of food or gasoline, may be at risk of arrest by national police.

Some roads leading to Tegucigalpa are closed.  Honduran borders were closed for a seven day period as of March 15.
