Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas to join Honduras President Castro for Visit to the Border
DHS to Highlight Lawful Pathways and Consequences to Irregular Migration
WASHINGTON – On Saturday, September 23, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas will join President Xiomara Castro of Honduras for a visit to McAllen, Texas. In addition to discussing our continued cooperation with Honduras on reducing irregular migration in a safe, orderly, and humane way, the Secretary will oversee southwest border enforcement operations and highlight lawful pathways as an alternative to smugglers.
